About me.

I live in both the Haut Languedoc, Occitanie region of Southern France and on the Dorset/Hampshire border in the South of England. My inspiration for my designs come easily with the beauty of these two delightful regions. In Southern France I have mountains, waterfalls, butterflies and crops of lavender and sunflowers. The area has many beautiful medieval villages, churches and castles perched high on majestic hillsides, surrounded by flowers and nature. Dorset too is very beautiful with the jurassic coast of white and silver. Inland lie tiny villages of thatch and cob, rivers, bluebells woods, heathland shattered with yellow broom, gorse and butterflies. Fields of poppies mix humbly with barley and rapeseed fills the air with golden light. I'm fortunate to be close to the New Forest too, with her ancient woods, marsh and ponies. Each one of my ceramic pieces take me many hours to paint and glaze. It makes me happy to paint them and I hope that you enjoy them too. My other interest are being with my children and grandchildren, walking, photography and fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support.
I love to walk in the ,mountains and forest with my collie Phoebe.

I've been painting ceramics for some years now but while I was away on one of my treks for Macmillan Cancer Support my husband bought me a new kiln and converted a room into a new studio for me. So I hope you enjoy sharing my blog and if you are interested in buying one of my ceramic pieces I would be delighted to send it to you or you can visit me in my studio in Verwood.
